Raja Ampat Misool

Raw Beauty of Misool – Where Fishing Meets the Wild!
The Papuan Black Bass is revered as one of the fiercest river predators, known for its raw power and relentless aggression toward lures. Anglers who take on the challenge face snapped lines, shattered tackle, and battles that push their skills to the limit.
Misool, one of the main islands in Raja Ampat, offers a unique and untamed fishing experience. In the island’s remote riverways, the formidable Papuan Black Bass lurks, while just beyond, the nearby atolls explode with saltwater action. Countless Giant Trevally (GT) strikes in crystal-clear waters as they hunt down baitfish, delivering some of the most electrifying topwater encounters imaginable.
Join PPFA and the traditional resource owners of Misool as we venture into untouched rivers, estuaries, and offshore reefs in pursuit of these legendary species.
Our expeditions are conducted from a mothership, with tenders providing access to the prime fishing grounds. Carefully selected anchorages ensure you’re always positioned for the next epic strike.
